Soreen Banana Powerhouse Recipe

A big whoosh of energy in just one bite.

What you’ll need:

1 x Soreen Banana Loaf

80g Dark Chocolate

30g Walnuts or Pecan nuts

Method:

Preheat the oven to 180c/350f/gas4

Put the Soreen loaf in the oven and bake for 10 mins

Take some deep breaths and inhale that very lovely Soreen aroma

While the oven is busy warming things up, Break 60g of the chocolate into a small bowl; put the bowl over a small saucepan of simmering water to melt the chocolate

Break up the remaining chocolate into small bits and chop the nuts into small pieces

When the Soreen is ready, pour the melted chocolate over the Soreen loaf, decorate with the chopped nuts and chocolate bits

Leave it to cool and then dive in

Great served with some coffee or hot chocolate

Once it’s polished off, check the mirror before leaving the house for pesky nuts hiding in your teeth…it’s not a great look.
