2015 was a simply squidge-tastic year for Soreen, even if we do say so ourselves. From launching tasty new products and linking up with some famous yellow characters, to helping your family stay active, we were busy all year long doing all sorts of exciting stuff.
Here’s a rundown of the biggest events and the best stories in case you missed them –
February: Squidgy Cake launched in two fantastic flavours
Coming up with great ideas is a piece of cake at Soreen and this was one of our tastiest yet. This deliciously squidgy treat was available for a limited period only in Chocolate or Toffee flavour and if you were one of the lucky people who got hold of one, you’ll know what all the fuss was about. But if not, don’t worry Squidgy Cake might make another appearance soon – so stay tuned!
April: We team up with the Minions for an exclusive competition
Minions was a massively successful family movie based around funny and mischievous little characters of the same name; the perfect tie in for our equally loveable Lunchbox Loaves. We linked this to an exclusive Minions competition too, with a once-in-a-lifetime chance for some lucky customers to win a trip to Universal Studios Orlando resort.
August: Squidgy Fun for all the family
This time we partnered with the Youth Sport Trust for our Soreen Squidgy Fun campaign to get families more active. Check out some of the things we got up to with Olympic Medalist Alex Danson below. September: New Breakfast Bakes mean Soreen on the go!!
The launch of our new Breakfast Bakes invited busy people everywhere to start the day in a squidgy way. A delicious malt bake, topped with wholegrain oats and bursting with energy, available in Original Malt and Apple & Cinnamon, and Fruity Five. No wonder everyone was soon squeezing a Breakfast Bake into their morning. Find out more about the tasty way to fuel your day here.
October: Halloween loaves for your little horrors
We celebrated Halloween with the perfect treat for trick or treaters, our specially themed Scream Lunchbox Loaves in Toffee Apple and Chocolate & Blood Orange flavours. No matter how we serve up our Soreen, everyone wants to get their hands on it. Or in this case, fangs!
November: Give the gift of Soreen
In the run up to Christmas we released Soreen merchandise through our new eBay store bringing you lots of unusual gift ideas like Cycling Jerseys, Mugs, T-Shirts, Water bottles and more. Demand for our stuff proved heavy enough for us to repeat the same exercise again next year.
December: The 12 Giveaways of Christmas
To finish with a festive bang, we launched our Advent Calendar with loads of squidgy giveaways throughout December, bringing tidings of comfort and joy for Soreen lovers everywhere.
